I sometimes abuse ampersands

Tried watching The Borgias - only to find out that I apparently cannot cheer for a corrupt governor who treats his city as a personal bank account and only cares about his family rather than any common good. Also, while I do respect the recently-popular genre of "erotica you can watch with your friends without damaging your reputation" (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo being another notable example of the genre), once all developments in politics onscreen get chalked up to sex, one has to admit that it becomes too cracky. Which is all a pity, because the scenery is very pretty, and there's one relationship I could theoretically ship with a fiery passion of a thousand suns.
