I sometimes abuse ampersands

One of the legs of my flight back from Dublin got cancelled, so I called the airline to rebook it. Here I am on the phone, dictating my booking information, as I reach one line that makes me start hyperventilating and basically go "Oh wait, I have a larger problem - I'm an idiot." I must have been going on too few hours of sleep when I booked the tickets the first time around, because my flight to Dublin is scheduled for June 7, as planned, while my flight back is for 17 of July, which, whoa, if it's Freudian, I must have felt that I needed a lengthy vacation. Luckily, they managed to rebook it: they had no tickets for June 17, and the closest they could get was June 19. Three extra days of vacation just like that, yay. Dublin, here I come!

(Good thing that that flight got cancelled, because otherwise I wouldn't have noticed my mistake before getting to the airport.)
