Yay, I'm glad I'm not alone in this corner of hell XD.

On a more spoilery note, I think they did a horrible horrible thing narratively by stripping the beings Victor created of agency and identity. I mean, where's the drama if they are just bloodthirsty cyphers? Pretty much *any* plot twist would have been a major improvement on that.
