I've been mildly hopeful about this movie, as the MNU site is sheer brilliance; I feared that it might turn out to be a very anvilicious message movie (judging by the "humans only" promotional posters, of course), but the result is, IMHO, worse - just a pile of forgettable rubbish.
The idea of casting a neurotic functionary as a protag was brilliant, as were some of the documentary-style sequences at the beginning. The problem is, the director hardly bothered to stitch them to the generic SF plot, creating some of the most striking discrepancies in style & plotting I've ever seen onscreen.

Aren't movie trailers supposed to be mellow? The trailer for "39 Case" made me shriek and duck in horror. I don't have the stomach for horror movies, and would have been a happier viewer without being subjected to the creepiness at waaay too early in the morning :( Renée Zellweger is pretty though.
